As a fast-growing, boutique, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in Charleston, we are looking for our next associate financial advisor, a professional with the talent and drive to become a future partner. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and peace of mind to our clients.
You are the right person for the role if you are someone with the analytical rigor of an engineer or accountant, the attention to detail of a planner, the empathy of a teacher, and the curiosity of a scientist. You will expand your skill set and achieve professional milestones that exceed your expectations as the firm owners provide personal, daily coaching so that you can make immediate, high-impact contributions and know what is expected to grow within the firm. In this small business environment, you will take an active part in shaping our firm’s operations and business development through AI, automation, and modern marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH:
- Assist the firm owners in running the day-to-day operations, onboarding new clients, servicing existing clients, and conducting prospect and client meetings.
- Participate in client meetings to identify financial objectives and deliver actionable, data-driven strategies to drive client success.
- Analyze complex financial and tax data to develop customized financial plans and solutions for clients.
- Evaluate current processes and implement AI and tech solutions to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Help in implementing digital marketing strategies to tell our firm’s story and attract our ideal clients.
- Perform business analytics to support firm owners in growth of the business.
- Work closely with COO to ensure the firm is maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Execute trades and rebalance client accounts with precision and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university; major in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering preferred.
- CFP® candidate required at or soon after hiring.
- Series 65 or equivalent required at or within 90 days of hiring.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Desire to stay up to date on industry specific technology and leverage AI, automation tools, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows to eliminate manual tasks.
- Must have a mindset of continual learning and a “no job is beneath me” attitude.
